THE REALM OF CONCEALED WISHES
Yeah... let’s get unconscious.
“The unconscious is a powerful and continuous presence. Every life lives out of and struggles with this inner night, which casts its challenging and fecund shadow over everything we do and think and feel. We are earthen vessels that hold the treasure. Yet, aspects of the treasure are darker and more dangerous than we allow ourselves to imagine. When the unconscious becomes illuminated, its darker forces no longer hold us prisoner. This work of freedom is slow and unpredictable, yet it is precisely at this threshold that each individual is the custodian and subject of their own transfiguration.” - John O’Donohue
Over the last several years, people have come to me with new ideas and concepts of what it means to be consciously aware based on new found perceptions. And this is awesome. Perception supports heightened awareness, but do not be fooled—— perception does not equate directly to a high level of consciousness, as it is relative.
A very psychic person can be a narcissistic asshole. Intuitive gifts do not equate to consciousness unless one is wise, mature, in integrity and incorporating self-evaluation as a daily practice. One must long to self evaluate, like a quest. This is innate. It is a drive. It cannot be taught. The need to check yourself and course correct before you wreck yourself, is not common among the masses.
Those of you who are heightened in sensitivity and born with soul experience translated as knowing, may have been aware at a young age that unless the energetic alignment and supporting conditions are there to allow for growth— none will happen. And no growth means death. Stagnancy is death. How does one manifest, experience joy, express perfect creative actuality, without being in alignment with self and Source as one? You can’t.
Some people have cultivated that drive to self evaluate out of absolute survival. For, if you haven’t noticed yet- the world, as designed and created currently, does not support the evolution of the species, health, intelligence, or self-mastery. If you want these things, you will become an absolute rebel reaching for the ever-present etheric current of life that is invisible to most, but always here and available. You must trust your knowing more than your two physical eyes. The most rebellious thing you can do is take care of your mind, body and spirit—becoming sovereign, unfailingly committed to truth, and truly healthy. I support the rebels. Always have ;)
The three pillars of creative manifestation are:
THOUGHT / MIND
WORD / AFFIRMATION
DEED / ALIGNING ACTION WITH INTENTION
When you are able to harness all of these under a focused intention and with a light gratitude, using your healthy body technology, mind and spiritual greatness to know and become that which you call to you—- one is unstoppable.
The willingness and true longing to self-evaluate is the gift itself.
Do you understand this? You can’t be like her, or them, or him. Everyone is a unique fingerprint, a soul signature, with a different gift to give. Do it like you. Do life like you! Why be a copy when you can be a divine, original? That is what you are? Divine originality! How will you become what you already are without the longing to look at yourself and where you are holding up masks, walls and protections, false projections of self? One must dissolve illusions and delusions, personas and masks, false desires and needs to become the essence of truth which gives birth to this original, cosmic blueprint that is YOU, already. The journey is just remembering. This world needs you. You need you. All life around you needs you. We are all working together. You would not be here if you had no purpose. Trust this.
People get confused about what life is and why they’re here and it’s usually when they are driven for whatever reasons, to digest that which takes life. We are programmed to move towards things which are poisonous instead of nourishing. We do it in relationships and with foods, drugs, jobs, behaviors, major life decisions. And guess what Earth lesson #1 is? All protoplasmic life must learn this if it is to evolve: what poisons and what nourishes. Protoplasms are the part of a cell that is alive. So, this life force inside the cell must use discernment and make decisions. You get one chance. Digest poison and you die. Dead? Sorry. Try again. So protoplasmic organisms must learn what causes life to expand. This is the base lesson of all life on this planet: move towards nourishment and away from poison. But, people seem to move towards poison anyways. Why?
Unconsciousness.
Do you know how unconscious you are? Sounds like a bitchy question, right? But it’s not. Even if you consider yourself to be conscious to some degree, do you know how unconscious you are? Of course not, as the truth would be still yet in the dark. How could one possibly answer that without indicating that they know everything. So we keep exploring and evolving and it doesn’t stop not even when we die. It never ends. It is. I am. Here we are.
The ability to discern between nourishment and poison in all areas of life is required for consciousness. So if you are confused, get in tune with yourself. Curiosity is what leads to learning, this is why the artists, philosophers, mystics, open-minded scientists (not working for Darth Vadar Inc.) have been aware of the something greater beyond and how it interacts with all life. That’s why they create, research, and teach and serve. They held playful curiosity in the first place. If you’d like to know where to start in terms of tuning into yourself, I wrote a book about it. Anyways, so, even little amoebas have to be curious about life and make life supporting decisions. If an amoeba can do it, hey…so can you.
When you close your eyes, what brings light and energy? What causes you to lose it? Only you can be truthfully honest about that with yourself. You are stronger than your fear, shame, guilt, and any other ways you condemn yourself. It is safe to rise. It’s safe to look inside.
Brainspotting is a process whereby we mindfully sit down at the table with what is. And we can do this even if it is hidden to you and your conscious mind. We can do this if you don’t know about it and I don’t know about it. Too heavy? Fine by me. Let’s not talk about it, just process the feeling. Either way, together we can hold space for your emotions, nervous system and comprehension architecture. You don’t have to know what it is, to know that something is. You don’t have to understand it, analyze it, write a paper on it, make excuses about it, or use words to try to explain it. The only thing you are asked to do is sit with it. You gotta feel it to heal it, as they say.
Can I sit with this? Can I accept this, even if it’s unacceptable? Can I witness this? And beyond that, can I mother this wound? Can I love the part of me that believes this, feels this, is in this much pain?
The answer is that yes, you can. You can sit neutrally with your own pain. This is how one finds freedom from within. For woven throughout and within the pain are golden, gossamer threads of unrealized potential, accumulated authentic power and wisdom— which acts as glory spoils in reward of transcending the pain. After transcendence your definition of glory spoils may be very different than previous definitions, but nonetheless they are there. These are the gifts, visions and majestic wonders of life await us when we are ready and willing to be the neutral witness of our own shadowland underworld. Meditation is nothing more than becoming aware. Awareness helps to perceive at greater depths. What you do with those depths, and this experience called the breath of life, is up to you. Cicero said all one needs is a garden and a library. I quite agree. Perhaps, I would add, a pen, ink and good tea to the mix. For me, that is glory’s spoils. When I was 25, it was something else.
It’s not what you do, it’s how you do it. It’s not about an inventory of acts of service, a log of your activities of the day— it’s about who you are. It’s about who you become. And you cannot become, without cultivating consciousness.
There is so much mystery in the darkness, a realm of unconscious wishes as O’Donohue calls it, waiting for the protagonist explorer of one’s life to take the first step upon that quest. You’re the only one who can do it for yourself. And you don’t even have to leave your room. Isn’t that wild?
If you need support on your personal journey, let me know.
With Love,
Kalisa
