We don’t always have the time, money or resources to have an incredible and experienced therapist or healer on tap at all times. Shucks, I mean, I wish we all could have that! Realistically, things come up in the middle of a workday, in the middle of the night or in the middle of the most inconvenient moment with your kids or partner.
The question is- how can we self regulate with integrity, but also with thoughtfulness and consideration to the flow of our work days, family life or needs of a surrounding community? Adulting these days requires us to find moments when we can actually transform and alchemize our emotions; not just suppress them. Therefore, the art of self healing and an ongoing inner process remains a necessity.
We all know the drill: nutrition, sweat, laughter, nature, meditation, positive speech and thoughts, breathwork, journaling, affirmations, emotional processing, detox, herbs, supplements, therapy, coaching, sound, light therapy etc.
But, what about when you are having a breakdown, or you’re in deep emotional pain and you know you have 20 minutes later on? Even five or ten can be helpful sometimes!
