Corporations, being mindful? You mean like, in a non-fake-wellness-washed kind of a way? Seriously?
Did any of you guys watch the Jane Goodall documentary or read her recent book Hope? In it she discusses the importance of working with unlikely or seemingly incongruous partners to help move ideas along. We’ve all got to shake hands somewhere, you know? For example: a fossil fuel company helped build one of her sanctuaries in Africa.

DID YOU KNOW THAT GOOGLE LOVES ME! Can you believe it? 😌😏
I don’t own a TV or have smart appliance anything. I don’t talk to robots. I would prefer ethernet cable, land lines, secret passageways, and handwritten letters WITH the wax seal, please. I don’t like bluetooth. I don’t have a personal social media. I wear giant bose headphones with cords. I read antiquated words. And an analogue beat wins; every fuckin’ time, man.
I know. I am what I am and I like what I like. Other people can handle the tech. Simple as that.
So, why would Google, love a girl like me on a planet like this? Nah, nah it’s likely neither my rankings nor analytic stats at the present moment. However, I will get back to checking those. Back to Google—I think they like me because it’s about helping people in corporate settings manage mental and emotional health.

What I do offer is a brain science, energy based, and mindfulness approach to emotional and somatic processing; incorporating sound, light, crystal, and color therapies into my practice.
My Expansion Program worked so well for Ava Donaldson, my good friend and US Inclusion & Influencer Lead at Google, that it showed up both practically and palpably in her productivity and leadership skills at the office. And ultimately, it lead to Google offering me a gig.
I’ve been leading a Mindfulness Monday Meditation group since the pandemic to help support Google’s team members get through the damn week. We’ve all been through the ringerrrrrrrrrrrr. So, in these weekly sessions, we build true confidence together and support a growth mindset. The thing is… this is no ordinary meditation my friends.
My corporate mindfulness programming includes:
Positive Visualization.
Breathwork & Neurological Balancing.
Energy Healing Activations — activating, opening up, firing up {just like you would a muscle after injury} the electromagnetic field or “lightbody”. You gotta light it up!
Positive Affirmations to set the tone for the week.
Guided Meditation.
Emotional / Energetic Balancing & Purification.
Yeah… I go there with these techies. It’s kind of awesome. We meet in group and discuss the tone of the world and the feeling of the moment. You know, I like to check in to see how everyone is doing. I often notice themes at certain times among masses. Sometimes, it as if people from all over the world who have nothing to do with each other, will tell me the same things in sessions in a given week. So, I like to connect the dots and see if any further data offers revelation.
Sometimes, I start with a reading or a small share. We all shut down the video, they silence the sound and I put the group on the crystal light grid. Now, those of you who know me from the days of old, pre-pandemic Kalisa, may remember the light show that accompanies my in person work and the energetic precision offered by including these modalities. Yes, that’s it! You remember. The same style can be hybridized remotely and for large groups. And it totally works ⚡️🏆 ⚡️. These attending team members are clearing energy and balancing their minds into calmer states of peace, like its nobody’s freaking business. It’s really rad and I couldn’t be more proud of them for showing up and giving a fuck.
I have a small group that meets monthly. It’s a super secret (well not anymore), small, jedi-mystics group—that I just blew up because I can’t keep secrets. Those who attend are people who are learning to manage, finesse and refine very high levels of sensitivity and intuitive intelligences in the modern world, which can be a real drag without support or context. I realized something in starting this group. And that’s that I’m not just an artist or the great wizard. I am an educator of sorts, in my own way.
I enjoy teaching. And I am growing more fond of teaching and leading in group.

I believe it’s very important to bring these themes into mainstream spaces so we start to normalize true health, and uh… to get the ball rolling a little more quickly on the evolution timeline here.
It seems like a little thing, but it’s very important. Ideas shape consciousness. We are in a stage of evolution for the Earth and the human species. This evolutionary leap has to do with consciousness specifically, and the corresponding sciences of understanding how the body functions optimally at these higher states of consciousness. So if you aren’t in tune with what is happening with the species and the Earth, it seems practical to hypothesize that you’re missing the mark, in all life areas. People will evolve. Some will adapt. Some won’t. The future is more kind and conscious. Period. Catch up.
You know how you guys start working with me and are like, fuck I can’t be with this guy anymore. Oh man, that friend totally drains my energy! Oh whoa, I had no idea how toxic my work situation is. And then you change things? Right. You take the knowledge and apply it practically into your life so it becomes wisdom that creates change. That’s a small, earthy example of awakening and changing a paradigm.
Well, if you keep doing it because you find it gifts you freedom, joy, health, peace, a rewarding life and career, love etc., you start to move farther away from the masses because life is very different here. Self care is very different here. Work and professional life looks and feels very different here. It’s better. Healthier. Beautiful. Graceful. Vital.
The thing is that more and more people are awakening and requiring entirely new systems of architecture to feel alive, vital, creative, productive, sharp. And corporations and companies have to keep up, at least if you want the best talent working for you and you want that talent to be on point.
We are all in this transition whether you ignore it or not. Corporate mindfulness, though it sounds kind of lame and dorky— is necessary. We have to bring the light and vibes to the fluorescent, dead tones of office space graveyards. Light and vibes for all, say I!
Here are some of the things that I do to stay centered:
Early to bed, early to rise.
Prayer - throughout the day.
Gratitude Practice - throughout the day.
Meditation - throughout the day.
Energy healing - through the day.
Stop, drop & roll when it comes to emotions on fire. Handle it then and there or at the soonest, appropriate time. I don’t stuff things under the rug or pretend things that are shitty, don’t exist. It’s stupid. — You may want a reset routine to help you when you get upset during the course of the day. Check out THE ENERGY BOOK help you get creative with this. For example: count to your favorite number, then do the same number of rounds of deep belly breathing, and finish with an affirmation. Say the affirmation three times. Boom. Reset the mindset. Stream of consciousness writing & art therapies. Signing. Guitar. Screenwriting.
No gluten, dairy, sugar.
I try not to skip meals & eat local, organic foods from farmers ideally.
Bibliotherapy - always having a stack of books by my bedside that keep my mind and heart inspired.
I hold objects of people I love who have passed away so I can feel their hearts, and remember that there is another adventure awaiting after this life.
I travel to other dimensions of mind, time and space which assists my neutrality witnessing the Earth experience.
I don’t rush.
Healthy boundaries. Say no a lot.
Listen to my body and energy as it guides me to truth.
Regular walks.
Sunshine.
Supplements & TCM herbal tinctures.
I don’t party and I stay hydrated.
I don’t date casually or waste energy on superficial connections as it can lead to health problems.
I laugh a lot. Even when I feel dark. Dark comedy will get you through the day my friends. I tell stories. I have a wild imagination.
I keep curious and philosophical.
I melt into the moment.
When someone disrespects me, I have now learned to bounce the first time because I know that it’s safe to let go and trust. I know that trust is love.
I no longer have unrealistic expectations for myself, truly respecting the guidance from my body and energy.
I have chosen to accept the terms of being in alignment with my highest potential, wherever that may lead me. I accept the terms of being myself. Wherever that may lead me. Wherever that may lead me.
I had a business meeting in Arizona this past weekend. SO much happened on the trip, but while nothing was actually happening. If you knew how my brain, heart and soul worked, you would understand this, quiet, fierce, tigger-ness about me. Maybe some of you do ;) Quiet space is what clears the fog so inspiration can shine through! And when I get some quiet space—- whoa shit goes down. It’s amazing. I love it. Quiet space for a full time single mother is like, rare.
I got back home and walked in the door on Sunday both excited and exasperated at the same time.
“Helena, are you ready for this? My goodness… guess what, no—- you wouldn’t believe it. Well, maybe you, of all people on this planet might believe it, since you were indeed, raised by me. So, I suppose it’s possible. Anyways, I have so much to tell you. Where does one even begin? Where did the universe even begin? I was reading God and the Astronomers… oh, that’s not the point. I just have so much to tell you,” I said.
“Oh mama,” said my angel with a side eye, “It never fails. Every time you come home from a trip you have all these stories. Nothing happens but, like everything happens. Honestly, it’s better than TV,” she communicated whilst looking at me with a wry grin.
I asked her if I should make some popcorn before commencing the wild, cosmic drama which opened up my guts in a sacred portal. Sometimes, a simple twist of metaphysical fate can change everything.
You see, in my living room, I’m a star…
